Another client who had that spare unused room in their property not being used. They wanted to try and create the full cinema experience without having to leave the house. And that is exactly what they got. One of the challenges for this project was the size of the room. It was a small space.
Learn moreA lot of installers will just put in the biggest screen they can and make it as loud as possible but in reality, this can take away from the experience, it can be over powering to the eyes and ears, making it uncomfortable. You have to find a balance. After a few calculations and measurements, we came up with this setup. A 4K projector on to a 110 inch screen with a 5.1.2 speaker configuration. As well as a requirement for movies, gaming was high on the priority list so we had to spec a system capable of displaying today’s games without any motion blur. So, for this we went with the Optoma UHZ65 4K projector, Origin Acoustic in wall and in ceiling speakers, Origin Acoustics subwoofer and an Anthem MRX 1120 AV receiver. Add to this the various led lighting circuits, the star fibre ceiling and the Control4 processor with touchscreen and you have a room you won’t want to leave.
